Calibration
of TEM and GTEM cells To calibrate emission measurment facilities it is only possible to use antennas whose dimension do not exceed those of the defined test volume. You reach the limits of the feasible very quickly, especially with small versions of TEM and GTEM cells. The RSQ-3200 reference radiation source can even be used in the "smallest" of measuring cells by virtue of it`s particularly small biconical antenna. A special advantage is the antenna holder which is over 500 mm in length because this places the generator, which is relatively large compared with the antenna, outside the area that needs to be calibrated. The optimum spacing between the generator and the antenna is one of the prerequisites for the particular homogeneity of radiation throughout the frequency range. The absolutely constant phase center is also worthy of mention, especially with regard to short measuring distances (constant effective distance regardless of the freuquency). Highlights: 100 kHz.........3.2 GHz Biconical antenna: Calibrated with antenna factors 30 MHz....3 GHz stable line spectrum Adjustable step: 100 kHz, 500 kHz, 1 MHz, 5 MHz, 10 MHz Internal battery for approx. 8 9 hours of operation Very small, compact antenna (biconical) Antenna with calibration records, allowing use for emission and immunity tests separatly |
